Coffee roasting from light to very dark, is an art form in itself. Green beans have none of the flavor we are all accustomed to. Coffee roasting brings out the vibrant flavor from the coffee bean. It is true that before roasting, the ‘green’ bean contains all the complex acids, protein and caffeine, but just a yukky green-like taste that doesn’t resemble coffee.
It is the heat from the roasting process that cause the coffee bean’s carbohydrates and fats to turn into aromatic oils. During coffee roasting moisture and carbon dioxide are burnt away, thus breaking down and enhancing the acids and providing the wonderful coffee flavor.

Yemen is the source of true Mocha coffee. Some connoisseurs consider the Yemeni beans the best that money can buy. No doubt about it, for one reason or another, it is know the world over. Grown along steep terraced hillsides at an altitude of anywhere from 3,000 to 7,000 feet, the harvested fruit is a small, hard coffee bean.
The name itself originates from the Yemeni port town on the Red Sea. From the varieties available Mocha Sanani and Mocha Mattari are considered the finest. Due to the harsh hot dry climate, the coffee beans are as unique as its distinct taste. No doubt about it, authentic Mocha coffee is a pleasure to drink.
So, whilst many people may not be totally familiar with the origins of Mocha coffee, I think most people have heard about or tried and fallen in love with the drink.
American coffee? Technically there is no such thing, at least none that is grown in North America. There is such a thing as the American coffee consumer which might as well be an institution all their own for it’s their money that drives a substantial portion of the market.
Americans consume more coffee than any other nation on earth. American coffee companies revolutionized coffee marketing, packaging, distributing, and even processing and roasting in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. America has sent troops to other countries to protect coffee growers and exporters from civil unrest. Yes, America is in love with coffee.
Coffee even played a role in the birth of America. Early British colonists revolted against Britain taxing tea. They exerted their independence by throwing cases of English tea into Boston Harbor during the famed Boston Tea Party. The early American coffee drinker was seen as patriotic and independent.
Everyone has their favorite and you are no exception when it comes to your favorite coffee mug. It is special and you like the feel of it in your hands and are really disappointed if someone else in the family is already using it for their beverage. What makes a good coffee mug? Who knows? Each person has their own special likes and dislikes; however, there are literally thousands of different ones to choose from.
There are coffee mugs in every shape and size imaginable. They are now insulated and can be covered, are stackable, ceramic, stainless steel, travel sizes and the majority are dishwasher safe. They can be small and hold about 6 ounces or very large holding over 20 ounces. There is no unique type, style, color or size to them, so, what makes these so special to the user?

The Europeans got their first taste of Turkish Coffee, and coffee in general from the Ottoman Turks, who brought coffee to the West. They were great coffee drinkers, both at home and in public houses, the forerunners of our cafés, which started to spring up across the Islamic countries. Turkish coffee became part of the Turks life and was known as the “Wine of Islam” and the “Milk of Chess Players and Thinkers”.
Turkish coffee is derived from the famous Arabica coffee bean, often the addition of the aromatic Cardamom spice is added to the coffee while it is being ground. Another method boils seeds with the coffee and lets them float to the top when served.
Flavored coffee syrups are a popular method of changing the basic flavor of coffee. The flavor can be added directly to the gourmet coffee bean or directly to that freshly poured cup of coffee. Which ever you choose, syrup allows you to change the flavor to your own custom approval. Some of the most popular syrups are listed below and not listed in any particular order.
1. Vanilla flavored coffee syrups. Mmm, vanilla is a popular flavored syrup. Vanilla is actually a wonderful smell as well. Vanilla is popular because it is basic but adds a touch of elegance to everything it is added. Choosing vanilla is a popular choice for both beginners and connoisseurs of coffee. If normal vanilla is not quite your cup of coffee, then there are numerous other types: French vanilla and vanilla bean are just a couple.
2. Chocolate flavored coffee syrups. Almost everyone loves chocolate. Chocolate is considered a true delicacy fit for the highest of royalty. Chocolate can be either cheap or extremely expensive. However, chocolate coffee syrup is usually quite inexpensive and offers the coffee connoisseur the chance to have the authentic flavor of our beloved chocolate in our coffee. Nothing beats the flavor of chocolate in coffee. There are even specialty gourmet coffees that are mixed with chocolate: mochas.
There are a number of different espresso coffee machines that you can buy today. These include the manual, semi automatic and the full or super automatic. Below I will be taking a closer look at just what each of these machines are capable of doing.
This type of machine requires the person using it to carry out all the various procedures involved in order to brew a great cup of espresso coffee. You will need to add both the water and the coffee grinds as well as controlling the frother if you are making cappuccinos or lattes.
With this particular machine you will need to start the process by turning the machine on and then pressing a button. Then once the espresso has been made, you will then need to turn the machine off. However with this machine you will be required to ensure that they water reservoir is filled and that there is sufficient beans within the grinder (as some models come with an internal coffee grinder).
This machine will produce a great espresso coffee without you having to participate in the process at all. These types of machines come with a fully integrated water system (which is attached directly to a water supply) and a coffee grinder for grinding the beans. With this particular machine all you need to do now is push a button and then the machine takes over and at the end will produce a great cup of espresso coffee. During each process, once the beans have been ground and used they will then be ejected and placed in an internal bin which can then be taken out and the contents removed.
